Take a long walk in the woods. Trails are located behind the cottage (exit the cottage, turn right, go through the park with the red bench and down the hill, into the woods). Go right, go left, there are things to see either way.
HINT: to see the waterfall, go to the left. We hear the fireflies put on a spectacular show near the waterfall on summer nights.

Leave your paperwork at home and pick up something new to read in our library, which houses over 150 books.
Brew some hot tea and hide away until dinner with a great book.
Dinner can start with everyone reading a passage from something new they have read that day.

Bamboo Juices, a block from the cottage at One Mado) is a Georgia legend, with some of the tastiest, freshest juices and nut milks in amazing combinations.
How about an internal/external cleanse? Juice for a day, take a yoga class at Serenbe yoga, read a spiritual book.

From baked goods to coffee, scrumptious salads to burgers, everything they make here is good. A few minute’s drive from the house at 9065 Selborne Lane.
Closest to the cottage, Halsa offers build your own bowls, sandwiches, soups, smoothies, and Swedish-inspired fare. At One Mado, minutes from the cottage, Halsa is the closest place to grab a glass of wine, beer, or a cocktail. Now open Wednesday nights for dinner, too.
Located at 9110 Selborne Lane, The Hill is excellent in food quality and warm and intimate feel. They also have a small bar separate from the restaurant. A few minute’s drive (or a healthy walk) from the house. Also an easy place to order pizza and salads to go.
Farthest from the cottage and adjacent to the Inn, Farmhouse has farm-to-table cuisine and a solid brunch. 10950 Hutcheson Ferry Road.
